  1. darlin’ there’s a typo on the page. find “Ken” and replace with Leland as Charley’s dad. also, thanks for the hard work you put into this character bio.

Darn, thought I had done that already. I noticed the name when I was going through the second book – and of course I deleted all of my notes. Meh.

  2. I don’t see Elaine on your list…fanatic in love with Reyes.

Hi Cindy. Nope, I am only done book one and the novella. I had all of the notes done for books two and three…and then deleted them before I got the list updated. That means a whole new re-read of both of them. Meh, what a dufus I am, since I have done that before, too.

  3. Come join us on Goodreads…we’re Darynda Jones *cough* Reyes fans….we talk about all the books and just have fun! I’ve been sending the girls your way :) Love your stuff!!!http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_folder/112301 We’re also on FB https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/210374592385601/

Thanks, Cindy! Kind of you. I will have the second and third books re-done and added before the fourth one comes out. I am playing catch up on the guides now, but I hope to have everything straightened out soon.

Quick question about one of the characters – professor Dr. Roland, formerly married to Charley’s sister, Gemma? I thought she was dating Officer Pierce by the end of the fifth book? I guess I missed something…

    • I wondered about that myself…Roland was mentioned in the first book, then nada. I was surprised when Gemma was dating, too – I guess she divorced off page. But it was strange. Glad you mentioned it, because I really thought I had missed something, too.

      • Amanda Wilson said:

I must’ve missed something. Maybe there was a mention of divorce but I was too distracted by Reyes…haha…

Hiya! The only reference I could find for Dr. Roland in First Grave is what I’ve shown below. And it says, he’s a married college professor with a Ph.D. that Gemma went all the way with. Can you please tell me where it’s mention she married him?? I couldn’t locate it. Cheers!

Gemma’s never forgiven me for showing her up. But it did push her to continue her education as part of our never-ending struggle of one-upmanship, which is kind of like the struggle for survival, only not so noble. And she didn’t stop at her master’s either. She went all the way with a Ph.D. A married professor named Dr. Roland. Then she got her own Ph.D. and did it by the time she was thirty.

    • kaleigha said:

I always wondered about that…I had thought it said at one point she was married, but then there was never any reference to it again and I found it strange. I will ask Darynda Jones and see what she says.

    • kaleigha said:

Good catch, Trayce…I asked Darynda, and she confirmed that Gemma was not married to Roland, but did the married Dr. Roland. Thanks for catching it.

  6. THIS IS SO INSANELY AWESOME!!! Have I told you that? Seriously, I use this all the time! LOL. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!
